Victorian Meriden Britannia Silver Co. Silver plate centerpiece bowl, from. Co is well known for the manufacture of fine and unusual silver plate table items but not as well know is that Meriden B. Administrators were also major stockholders in the Meriden Flint Glass Company which employed many of the most talented craftsmen, producting internationally award winning cut and decorated glass. Many pieces produced were used by the Meriden B. The company closed in 1866. Centerpiece bowl is lovely and in fine condition as shown in the pictures.
